Support BFA

BFA is a group of local cycling advocates dedicated to encouraging the use of bicycles as regular transportation. We try to encourage people to use their bicycles instead of their motor vehicles for short, local trips.

You can help our cause by becoming a supporter of Bike Friendly Arlington at no cost to your business. Here’s how it works:

Submit a contact name and phone number or email address for your business, along with the address of your location and we’ll post it on our blog as a bike-friendly business. To do so, all we ask is that you offer some sort of incentive for cyclists to ride their bikes to your location. i.e., a discount for patrons who ride their bikes. In return, we’ll give you a window decal to display on your storefront and list your offer on our blog and social media pages.

To list your business, fill out this form.

just heard about what ya got going on and shoot the below email off to the head of the “SOS” group. Rooting for you all from up North.

Just came across the SOS and want to commend you from the heart of Cheshire County N.H., home of the libertarian Free State Project. As you know any change to our motorways is an attack against the roots of our culture, economy, and freedom. Subsidizing something like bicycle programs will take away jobs in the form of nurses, auto makers, and even give cause to reduce the Pentagon’s budget. We must maintain the vast demand for using tax dollars to subsidize any and all aspects of a petroleum fueled economy! Clearly over the long term such bike lanes would require less maintenance and that is a cost you must fight to maintain! A smaller federal government does not translate into the decentralization of power from the oil companies too. Drawing such parallels is myopic. Thank you, Tim Stillman

P.S. from a space of no sarcasm I am appreciative that you are involved, dedicated, and lending a diversity of voice to the process. Although not reflected in the above I respect that dedication and only differ in your logic.

  4. We at Olenjack’s Grille are in full support of your efforts. This is a great opportunity for more of our friends and families to get involved in an environmentally friendly cause and have a lot of FUN! Let me know what else we can do.

  5. Hello, I didn’t know how else to contact you so I’m posting here (You don’t have to publish this comment). I noticed that your Bike Friendly Richardson icon image link is broken. I must apologize for that. I’ve since closed down that hosting website.

You can update the link to this:

Basically, you are replacing “atomicman” with “wezensky” in the address. Once you do that, the image link should be fixed.

dailly and take good facts from here everyday.

  7. After exploring a number of the blog articles
on your web page, I honestly appreciate your technique of writing a
blog. I bookmarked it to my bookmark webpage list and will be checking back soon.

Take a look at my web site as well and tell me what you think.

  8. Definitely believe that that you stated. Your favourite reason seemed to be on the internet the easiest factor
to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while other people think
about issues that they just do not recognise about.
You controlled to hit the nail upon the top and outlined out the entire
thing without having side effect , folks could take a signal.
Will probably be again to get more. Thank you
